Trip to Washington, D.C.
Washington, the Aorta of our country’s politics and a place of refuge for myself and my fellow interns. We ventured down from New York City early morning. Our first order of business was to explore Georgetown. Perusing the shops and boutiques of Georgetown lifted all of our spirits. Among the stores we visited, J. Crew and Ralph Lauren best matched our New York style. We gawked at the multi-million dollar town houses and our mouths watered as we passed Morton’s Steak house, a staple of Georgetown. After dinner at a Georgetown U favorite, The Tombs, we drove to our accommodations in our trusty Chevy Tahoe, one of the great American cars. The evening came to a close with a leisurely stroll by the White House, a cigar, and blu’s. Washington is a great city.
